Aaron King receives the Emerging Leader Award.

We have some proud news to share about one of our own.

Aaron King, our Account Manager for the Mid-Atlantic, received the Emerging Leader Award at Carwash Con East. The award was presented on October 6, 2026, at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The award recognizes Aaron for his exceptional leadership, early impact and dedicated service to the industry. Anyone who has worked alongside him will tell you that all three of those fit.

Well deserved

We've watched Aaron fine-tune every wash he serves by integrating a system of his own design into our MAST Advantage system and he's built something even rarer: a system that makes his knowledge repeatable. He has trained multiple other reps on how to use his system all while actively managing his accounts. That's the mark of real leadership: not just doing the work yourself, but building a framework strong enough that others can succeed with it too.

Through personal research and really through trial and error, Aaron has also become one of the most knowledgeable voices in water quality and water treatment in our region. He has optimized water quality across all the washes he serves, and his reputation has carried well beyond them with him being sent to other operators for the same expertise. This wasn't in his job description either, he just noticed an issue and was determined to solve it.

What sets Aaron apart is that his impact scales. For every site he manages, he's developed custom spreadsheets, templates, and forms that let him, and now his trainees, identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. A lot of people can figure out issues but what sets leaders apart is that they can teach other people to figure out issues. Aaron's initiative and creativity has turned valuable knowledge into a system that outlives any single person's involvement, including his own. We have even taken some of the material Aaron has developed and implemented it into our training process because of the value that it has.

Celebrating together

The award came during the same week our team was at Carwash Con East, so a lot of us were there to celebrate with him. Seeing Aaron walk up to receive it, and then seeing the whole Mast team gathered around the table in our matching shirts to cheer him on, was a moment we won't forget.

It was a good reminder of something we say often: The MAST Advantage is built on its people.
